Audrey Tang owns Batik And Baker, a pastry pop-up serving Malaysian and Asian-inspired sweets and snacks.
Audrey started Batik And Baker in 2021, as a playspace for creative expression, curiosity and a craving for comforting flavors of childhood. Today, Batik And Baker thrives on connection and community, and is a way of sharing familiar treats and an invitation to try something new and unexpected.
Audrey grew up in Penang, Malaysia, with memories of meals and stories with her Peranakan grandmother and weekends baking with her mom. She now calls Oakland home, with her husband and a senior pug named Steve.
Audrey graduated from San Francisco Cooking School, and has worked with the amazing chefs and craftspeople at Craftsman and Wolves, Mister Jiu’s and Cotogna.

Audrey 於 2021 年創立 Batik And Baker,是一個鼓勵創意表達、好奇心和追求令人心安的兒時滋味的玩樂空間。今天,有賴人與人之間的連結和社區力量,Batik And Baker 茁壯成長,不但跟大家分享各種熟悉的點心,亦邀請大眾一嚐各式新奇而意想不到的味道。
Audrey 成長於馬來西亞檳城,回憶裡盡是土生華人祖母的餐宴和故事,還有跟媽媽周末烘焙的時光。她現時以屋崙為家,與丈夫和老八哥犬 Steve 為伴。
Audrey 畢業於三藩市廚藝學校,曾與 Craftsman and Wolves、Mister Jiu’s 以及 Cotogna 餐廳一眾出色的廚師和巧匠共事。
