For SUPER FLEX, drag artist and scholar SNJV presents The Alchemy of Drag, a workshop that explores the art of drag through ancestry and alchemy. Drag is positioned as a tool to inspire personal metamorphosis. The workshop serves as a space to not only learn how to put on drag, but more importantly illuminate the power of becoming, what that means and how we can embody these altered states through drag.

SNJV is a captivating artist whose dance, drag, and drama performances beautifully reflect the essence of humanity. Seamlessly blending culture with dance and fashion, he crafts mesmerizing performances for both stage and film. Beginning his artistic journey at just 4 years old, SNJV has continuously dazzled audiences. As the first South Asian to hold the title of Mr. GAPA in the GLBTQ+ Asian Pacific Alliance, he has made history. SNJV is also the co-founder of Parivar, a vibrant social collective that supports and celebrates queer, trans, and gender non-conforming individuals of the South Asian diaspora. An inspiring educator, he shares his insights on drag, dance, and identity in academic and corporate settings. Beyond the spotlight, SNJV excels as a producer and director, creating films that intricately weave together themes of culture, queerness, and texture.
