Edge on the Square presents High Five: Exploring the Elemental Forces of Chinatown, its 3rd Annual Contemporary Art Festival on Saturday, September 7, 2024.
This year’s theme centers on the five elements: Earth土, Fire火, Metal金, Water水, and Air气, and invites you to uncover new realms of Chinatown through the prism of these fundamental forces.
Five Chinatown alleyways and streets will represent an element and be interpreted by artists in their activations:

The one-day event will spotlight API artists and their multimedia artworks, installations, activations and performances throughout the neighborhood. Alongside cultural partners, arts organizations, local restaurants and vendors, and community residents, a collective voice will amplify unity and sing solidarity all over the streets of our beloved Chinatown with art, music, food, performances and much more!
